Great food!
GMBethesda , MDMarch 21, 2026I've had this restaurant on my list for a couple of years. I was in the city for a concert and absolutely had to try Federalist Pig. It did not disappoint. My friend and I shared the pitmaster special for two. The meats we chose were brisket (burnt ends), rib, tips, pork belly, and pulled pork. For our sides, we chose mac & cheese, crispy brussels sprouts, potato salad, and coleslaw. We were hesitant about the potato salad because the guy who took our order explained that it's more of a mustard base. We did like the potato salad, but were surprised we did not like the coleslaw. Both of us thought it was too dry and not creamy at all. The other side items were good though. We were definitely impressed with the brisket and pork belly.
