Very creative dishes, well executed. Service was good, servers were knowledgeable about preparation and ingredients, wine list could be better especially sparklings (no Corpinnats, Franciacortas, cremants by the glass or bottle except for a Loire cremant offered by the glass). JPHouston , TXMay 31, 2026Fabulous dinner experience! We sat at the counter to enjoy the chef's set dinner with paired wines. Everything was amazing. This was our 3rd time at Barbacana and again they didn't disappoint! Very creative dishes with unique flavors. We chose the "standard" wine pairing which was delicious and sometimes received a wine from the premium list as a bonus ;-) Service is also great, friendly, professional and very informative. We will be back!

AGHouston , TXMay 04, 2026Excellent food and wine as always. The service was impeccable and we enjoyed our usual staples of Jicama Salad, bread service, and honey cake. We also tried the new crab salad (available for lunch) and the beef bevette w mole. Incredible. We love the atmosphere and people at this restaurant which makes it our local favorite.
