Have wanted to try Market for some time now, and was able to secure a table on New Years Eve. We were greeted with complimentary prosecco, and then escorted to our table. For such a busy night, we found the service to be among the best in Venice/Abbot Kinney area. No finished plate was left abandoned, there was abundant food servers, supporting our awesome waitperson, Sarah, who would reset, refresh the table, or deliver our next dish direct from the kitchen. We started with oysters which had a chili oil and fried onion as an interesting option. I recommend the smoked bluefin bruschetta. For an 8 oz, hangar steak, I thought the portion was extra generous and perfectly cooked. The Lumache pasta was also perfect to split. We had leftovers. Cocktails are creative but there is also an extensive wine list. As I shared my experience with local Venetians, consensus is there is not a bad time to go to market. They have a great happy hour, solid dinner service and often later in the evening, post 10PM, the atmosphere transforms to more of a groovy supper club. We will be back!
