• My family and I visited this restaurant last month, and overall we had a nice experience. The restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food was good. However, the portions were surprisingly small for the price. What really disappointed me was the way the gratuity was handled. A 20% service charge was already included on the bill, but our server never mentioned it. When I asked if the tip was included, she told me "no" and explained that the service charge was "for the restaurant, not for me." That explanation was very misleading, especially since the bill clearly stated "20% service charge." Because of what she told us, we felt pressured to leave an additional 20% tip on top of the service charge. Between the service charge, the extra tip, and taxes, we ended up paying around $50 beyond the cost of our meal. That left a very bad impression. I usually enjoy leaving positive reviews and appreciate good service, but this experience felt dishonest and left me questioning the restaurant's practices. It's unfortunate because the restaurant itself is beautiful and the food was enjoyable, but I won't be returning due to how the gratuity was handled.
