Love Montesacro. Everything. Service is wonderful!

DOStockton, CAAugust 30, 2026The restaurant was accommodating for our large group - 6 adults and one child. Service was very efficient, but not friendly. Food was good - we especially liked the beet salad appetizer and pizza crust. Be aware there is an automatic 6 percent employer surcharge and a 20 percent service charge on top of that. So you'll see an automatic 25% added to your bill. Bottled wine starts at $60-70, so with the charges close to 70-90 dollars a bottle. We ordered one red and one white bottle for the table - on the low end, and this added $177. Dinner ended up being about $70 per person including a 2 year old. This is a pizza dinner, and that seems very expensive to me, thus I removed a star.
