SEDeerfield , ILJune 29, 2026Our dinner at Amaru was a feast of flavors. We loved the seasoning on the chicken & the textures in the guava cheesecake. But our favorites were the colorful carrot/beet salad with its nutty vinegarette, and the chorizo-beef burger with its flavorful combination of meats! Our upbeat and friendly server Avery had a can-do atttitude and was very welcoming, as was all the staff we met. The coffee was meh--perhaps burnt? But that's a tiny complaint. We will definitely be back!
