We did the 17 course omakase as a birthday dinner...i dont think i have ever been that full from sushi. Our chef Sebastian was excellent and a good dinner partner. I had asked about bringing our own champagne...and they agreed for a small corking fee. Tasty and we will be back

PGChicago, ILFebruary 26, 2026We visited as part of Chicago Restaurant Week. It was a very small venue with bar seating close enough to watch the chefs prepare each course. The food was delicious! Each selection was carefully prepared from a selection of tuna, salmon, scallop, and more, accompanied by a sake cocktail that set them all off well. For dessert we had Japanese "bouzy" ice cream and sorbet, which set off the fish well. The restaurant feels like it's in the basement of The Emily Hotel, but it's on the lobby level, sort of hidden down a back hallway. Makes you feel like you're going to a speakeasy!
