About

After learning the ropes in their family cheesesteak business, a brother and sister pair broke off to do their own thing, opening Cleavers in 2016 to bring Philly gourmet and unique cheesesteak creations and more. Located in the heart of Center City near Rittenhouse Park, Cleavers takes the signature Philadelphia meal and puts a contemporary spin on it, using freshly baked bread, artisanal ingredients, and USDA domestic ribeye. Offering ribeye, chicken, and veggie options, your meal is made to order however you like it: on a roll, as a wrap, or in a bowl. Choices include classic beef or chicken cheesesteak, beef Italiano, buffalo chicken, portobello cheesesteak, BBQ cheesesteak, and Papa's Favorite Steak (with fried onions, shredded mozzarella, and pizza sauce). The full-service bar has an impressive selection of craft beers, along with signature cocktails and boozy milkshakes that make a great dessert, meal accompaniment, or sweet treat whenever you're craving one. Happy hour regularly happens with deals on select drinks and you can purchase both growlers and bottled beers to take to go. Their dining space is modernly rustic and comfortably casual, with counter service and an upstairs loft for a quieter spot to chow down. Also available for takeout and delivery, Cleavers will soon have you agreeing that they're a "cut above the rest."
