Two locations welcome denizens of the Windy City including this West Argyle spot which provides a simple and unfussy way to spend your day or evening with some fine eats. Local press acclaim and Zagat-ratings have continued to mark Hai Yen as a go-to spot for regular dining appointments. The people come here for a menu that infuses classic Vietnamese flavors to create the likes of Hai Yen's famous Bo La Lot, marinated ground beef wrapped in a Hawaiian leaf then grilled. It's a delightful option, but so are the traditional beef noodle soups (Pho) and exotic salads like the Lotus Root. The menu features more than enough variety to cater to almost any craving, including vegetarian dishes, fresh seafood, noodles, and more.
