Backyard Grill offers the most outstanding cuisine in Chantilly along with a cozy, relaxing atmosphere that is sure to please any diner. Open for more than 17 years, Backyard Grill has excellent menu choices that will satisfy even the most particular patron. From produce to seafood and meat, everything is fresh and made to order. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere, they have the perfect dining room that will seat you comfortably. Need to check out sports or politics while you enjoy your meal? There are television monitors for your viewing pleasure, and the best place to view them is at the bar or on the open patio. Spend time outdoors while enjoying a fabulous meal and drinks on the Backyard Grill's patio. Be sure to visit on Tuesdays for the Raw Bar Night, and they have the biggest Thursday gathering spot in town. The patio is large, complete with protection from the sun, and has its own outside bar area. Sundays can't be beat in cost and variety at their amazing Brunch Buffet where you can fill up on a huge variety of tasty dishes. The Backyard grill is ideal for business lunch meetings, special events such as birthday parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, date night or meals out with the family. For larger events, they not only have the perfect space for your needs, but they also cater. The courteous staff has been groomed to provide customers with constant attention also make for an enjoyable visit. All of this and yes, they also deliver! Plentiful portions, scrumptious food, terrific service and more - your first visit to the Backyard Grill will be a memorable one!

Plate for multiple entrees were unclean , manager tried to act cool but was not
The establishment replied to this review on February 16, 2026To whom it may concern, I am sorry that your plates weren’t clean. I’m not sure why because they go through a dishwasher that runs at 160° when they get washed. I will definitely be looking into this and talking to the manager on duty to see his information he has to say. The establishment replied to this review on February 15, 2026Thank you for your feedback and for pointing out that the bar service was great we truly appreciate that. To clarify the situation with the HVAC: two out of the three rooftop units needed to be replaced. This actually happened about a week before the blizzard, and we immediately ordered two brand-new units. One unit was still fully operational, but do to the extreme cold temperatures we have been having it made it harder to warm up the place because we did have heat in the building during that time. Unfortunately, before the new units could be installed, the snow blizzard hit. At that point, no HVAC company was willing to risk sending their crew onto an icy roof, and a crane could not safely access the property because of the snow. Safety has to come first. Although we do not own the shopping center, we are still responsible for the $45,000 cost to replace these units. We acted quickly and responsibly, but the severe weather delayed installation something completely out of our control. We understand it may not have been the most comfortable experience during that temporary period, but we were actively addressing the issue and investing significantly to fix it properly.
